HUDSON BALLET THEATRE'S COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITY, JUSTICE AND INCLUSION
Historically, the professional dance community excluded or made unwelcome participants of color. Hudson Ballet Theatre is committed to actively ending this practice within our organization and standing up against acts of injustice and discrimination in our community. We believe that all are welcome to express themselves through the art of ballet and dance regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, cultural or religious background, ability/disability or veteran status. Moreover, we have a unique platform to reflect the voices and experiences of a diverse group of people in our organization and through our works. We are committed to providing access to dance to all, as well as being a resource of support and a vessel for change, particularly within the dance community.
